| TERMS OF USE |
GENERAL
The Ministry of Defense (hereinafter: “MOD”) offers the information on this internet site (hereinafter: the “service”) and the user uses the service subject to these Terms of Use. The Term “User” as follows shall mean each person (natural or legal) who establishes a connection or accesses the service or that is an owner of an account from which the service is accessed. |

COPYRIGHT
According to the law of copyright, including copyright laws of Israel, and pursuant to international treaties, copyright in the MOD’s publications, including those provided by the service, belong to the State of Israel/MOD. These rights apply, inter
alia, to text, pictures, drawings, maps, audio tracts, video tracts, graphics and program applications (hereinafter: “the protected material”), unless stated explicitly that the copyright in the protected material belongs to another party.
User may not copy, redistribute, retransmit or publish protected material, without the prior written consent of the office.
The User may make “fair use” of the protected material.
When quoting from the protected material, User must attribute the source of the quotation. The User may not alter, modify or in any other fashion change the protected material in a manner which would cast aspersion on the creator of the protected material.

LIABILITY
The service is provided to the public “as is.”
The State of Israel/MOD shall not be held liable for the suitability of the service to User’s needs. Nor shall the State of Israel be held liable for any error or mistake found in the material provided by the service.
The State of Israel/MOD shall not be held liable for any changes made in the material provided by the service if such changes where made by User or by a third party.
The User alone shall bear responsibility for the way in which it uses the service and/or the material provided by the service.
The State of Israel/MOD shall not be held liable for any loss or damage caused to User or third parties arising directly or indirectly from the use of the service, including loss or damage due to the use of applications that were downloaded directly through the service or that were activated by using the service, including ActiveX, JavaScript, and Java.
For the purposes of the above terms, “The State of Israel” includes its employees and agents.

LINKS
This service contains links to external sites. The following conditions shall apply to the use of these links, without derogating form the other conditions in these “Terms of Use.”
The links are solely for the convenience of User.
Unless otherwise stipulated in this service, no legal or commercial relationship exists between the office and external sites not maintained by the State of Israel (“third party sites”), and the office has no control over the content of third party sites.
The State of Israel is not responsible for the content of third party sites. Links to third party sites shall not be construed as an endorsement, recommendation or favoring by the MOD of third party sites, and/or documents and other materials to be found therein and/or operators of third party sites.

QUERIES
The User may forward comments to MOD, via Email and subject to full provision of User’s name and address. MOD may convey its reply, if necessary, by mail, facsimile, this service or any other means.

OFFICIAL PUBLICATIONS OF THE STATE OF ISRAEL
In an event of discrepancy between the material provided by this service and material published in the official printed publications of the State of Israel, the later shall be deemed to be correct.

correct
